Travel & Accommodations
Everything you need to know about getting to and staying at our celebration
Recommended Flight Routes
If you're flying to Jaipur outside of India, we recommend booking a flight that connects through Dubai (DXB) with Emirates or Abu Dhabi (AUH) with Etihad Airways into Jaipur (JAI). Alternatively, you can fly into the major Indian airports, such as Delhi (DEL), Mumbai (BOM), or Bangalore (BLR).
Arriving via Delhi
If you decide to fly into Delhi (DEL) instead, our wedding planner (see the Contact section) can help coordinate a private car and driver for the approximately 3-4 hour drive to Samode. We recommend this option as there may be a long layover between international flights landing into Delhi and domestic flights leaving for Jaipur.
Airport Transportation
We will be arranging complimentary transportation from both the Jaipur airport and train station to the wedding venue—and back— for all guests.
Jaipur International Airport (JAI)
Jaipur International Airport is located about 30-45 minutes from Samode Palace. Our team will be coordinating all airport pickups based on your flight information.
After you RSVP, our wedding planner will follow up to collect your flight details so we can coordinate your transportation to and from the venue.
Room Reservations
All guests will be staying at Samode Palace and Bagh. Once you've submitted your RSVP, our wedding planner will reach out to assist with booking your stay. You'll receive a personalized link to reserve your room directly through our wedding room block. Please do not try to book the rooms on your own as the hotel will cancel reservations for those dates.

Visa Requirements for India
Most foreign nationals require a visa to enter India. We recommend applying for your visa well in advance of your travel dates to avoid any last-minute complications. There are several visa options available:
e-Tourist Visa (e-TV)
This is the most convenient option for most travelers. The e-Tourist Visa allows for a stay of up to 30 days from the date of arrival in India. The application process is entirely online, and you'll receive your visa via email.
Regular Tourist Visa
If you plan to stay longer than 30 days or prefer a physical visa in your passport, you can apply for a regular tourist visa through the Indian embassy or consulate in your country, or through authorized visa service centers.
Visa Application Tips
- Apply at least 4-6 weeks before your planned travel date
- Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date from India
- Have a digital copy of your passport photo ready for the online application
- Keep a copy of your visa (digital or physical) with you when traveling
- Check if your country has any specific requirements or restrictions
If you have any questions about the visa process, please don't hesitate to reach out to us or our wedding planners. We're here to help make your journey to our celebration as smooth as possible.
